Poker Stars is the biggest online poker room in the world and you’ll not be able to find a poker room with more action going on then here. It’s my personal poker room of choice because there is always a ring game or tournament going on, and they also have lots of players who play other variations other then Holdem. The Poker Stars room has been opened since 2000 which makes them one of the oldest poker rooms, but most of the poker rooms didn’t do nearly as well as this room. Over the years they’ve worked on adding the best features, poker games and player base and it’s become an awesome poker room. Poker Stars didn’t become the biggest and best poker room without having the best game selection. You will find that the only thing lacking in the games section is the stakes which don’t go very high. Micro levels start really low though at $.01/$.02 so anyone can start playing for pennies to learn the game. Poker Stars has the best selection of tournaments as well ranging from fierce heads-up tournaments to large satellite poker events. They also have basically every poker game you could think of such as Texas Holdem, Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi/Lo, Seven Card Stud Hi, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, HORSE, HOSE, Five Card Draw, Razz, 2-7 Triple Draw, 2-7 Single Draw, Badugi and 8-Game.
