Mansion Poker Review
Mansion Poker has quietly been around since 2005 and when they initially started they we’re a completely independent poker room that used there own software and did everything else on there own. Since then though Mansion Poker has decided to switch to the popular iPoker Network which is one of the largest poker networks on the internet with many big named casinos using there software. US players can’t play in this poker room which is a shame, but rules are rules and no iPoker poker room can have US players. Mansion Poker has been a very reputable poker room for years now and although they never made it to be as big as some rooms they have the experience. If you prefer playing in safe establishes rooms that aren’t always buzzing with thousands of players then Mansion Poker is a relaxing option you have.
Software
Mansion Poker utilizes the iPoker Network software which is known as the PlayTech software suite and happens to be very robust. The software has all the features and add-ons that players look for before joining a room such as chatting, avatars, statistics, multi-tabling and a whole bunch of other cool things. With traffic not as large as the big poker rooms Mansion Poker you’d expect a seamless gameplay, but in fact the gameplay is somewhat slow paced and can become irritating a bit. The colors chosen for the poker room lobby and tables are very unique and I actually like the themes they’ve chosen for the room.
Games
Mansion Poker has pot limit, fixed limit and no limit action available in a variety of poker games. The stakes start at $.50/$1.00 which is fairly high for a starting stake when compared to most poker rooms who offer micro-limits. The highest stakes available are $50/$100 in the pot limit and fixed limit games. You can play Texas Holdem, Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi/Lo, Five Card Stud and Seven Card Stud. They’ve yet to implement any of the mixed games, but I’m sure with the New Year coming new poker games will become available. They also need to make sure there will be enough players competing in the games if they add them so it’s not always simple adding new games to a poker room unless there is massive traffic.
Traffic
Mansion Poker never really broke out on the scene like some poker rooms did back in 2005, but they did manage to stay in the game and since moving to the iPoker Network traffic has been great. You can now find thousands of players in the poker room most times of the day including around 10,000 ring game players during peak hours.
Bonus
Mansion Poker is currently offering a reasonable sign-up bonus for new players which beat quite a few of the other online poker bonuses.
- 100% Bonus up to $500 maximum.
You will also become apart of the loyal player program when you join which rewards loyal players for playing at Mansion Poker. With Mansion Poker being apart of the iPoker Network it also means you’ll be able to take part in millions worth of satellite tournaments and guaranteed prize pool tournaments.
Player Support
Mansion Poker has one of the very best support systems in place in the online poker industry and players can contact them through phone, email, live chat and even fax machine. With so many options you can get a hold of a Mansion Poker support member instantly if you need too.
