Women and the matter of age is never an easy discussion. But it seems that the reaction of opponents at the poker table changes in reflection to female poker player’s ages.

After a bit of digging around and a lot of watching it seems that the younger female player is prone to getting flirted with more than the other generations. This is probably no surprise. The younger generation also seem to get away with asking questions about opponent’s hands and actually being given answers on occasion. It also seems that it is assumed that the younger and more attractive players are novices. The men also seem to play softer towards this generation. So if you’re of the younger generation use all that and use your sex appeal.

The middle aged women can seem to get ignored at the poker table unless they are naturally talkative and fun. It seems they are also viewed as that they have arrived in life and so is self confident and will act like this at the poker table. So the key to the middle aged is to use your poker knowledge and your self confidence.

The older women seems to get the most benefit from playing poker out of the three generations as most players will underestimate a mature women player. They just see a grandma or mother figure and the younger men assume they are easy pray. A mature player can get away with acting weak even though they are secretly as tough as nails.
