Live or Online Poker

Live or Online poker, which is best? I must admit I am biased and prefer online poker and here is why I think online is better than live poker.

Availability	Poker is just a button press away 24/7	Well unless you live in Vegas or in a major town it will be a bit of drive. Wake up at 3am and cant sleep and fancy a game, you wont be able to play.
Table Selection	You can take your pick of what table you want to be play and at what limit.	Most poker rooms only have one game at a time which might not be in your budget.
Amount of Poker Played	You can play more than one table at a time. You can play as many as you’re comfortable with and can fit on your screen. Not uncommon for the serious online players to have dual screens if not three	Be sensible, you only got one pair legs. If you register for more than one tournament and they overlap, you’re stuffed.
Anonymous	You can be anyone you want to be from a spotty nerd to a grandma	You are who you are, warts and all
Low Limit Games	You can find tables as low as you want to go. Right up to eye watering heights that are just jaw dropping scary to look at.	Low limit are very scarce if to say nonexistent.
Dealers	The dealer is perfect. Knows when to deal, how to deal and deals neatly. The chips are always neat and the table tidy so you can see who bet what	The dealer is human. Complete with moody days and fingers and thumbs that can make a mistake and that look they give you when you shouldn’t have called.
Customising	Have a thing about certain felt colours on the table? You will find a poker room that matches your mood. You can even change the back grounds on some from the back drop to the carpets.	Like it or lump it and dodge the chewing gum on the floor.
Notes	You can make notes. Be it using the software’s clever technology that lets you make a note on each player. Or the old fashioned pen and paper next to your computer	You have to store it all up in your head till you have your 10 minute break, then scribble it all down on the toilet roll in the toilets. Then of course you have to store in somewhere till you get home. Just don’t blow your nose on the wrong bit of tissue or the ink might smudge across your face.
Comfort	You can play in your pj’s with the music playing in the back ground. Focused and relaxed you will play better	Your jeans are too tight from sitting down for so long, your bums gone to sleep and there is so much noise you cant hear your own chip tricks above everyone else’s. To top it all off the player next to you forgot to wash this year.
