Annie Duke
Annie Duke is a house hold name in poker as well as her brother Howard Lederer who is also a poker pro. Under the guidance of Howard, Annie started out in poker back in 1994 taking home $70,000 in her first World Series of Poker. Tutoring actor Ben Afflick gave her considerable publicity when he went on to win at the 2004 California Stake Poker Championship. Annie also won her first WSOP bracelet in the same year. Not content with just playing the game she has also written the book Annie Duke: How I Raised, Folded, Bluffed, Flirted, Cursed and Won Millions at the World Series of Poker. Away form the tables Annie is a devoted mother to her four children. Although now divorced, her aim is to be the best mother she can be while still managing a poker career.
